2017 CANADIAN FOOTBIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS

YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO TAKE PART IN OUR 4TH ANNUAL CANADIAN FOOTBIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS .

THIS YEAR’S CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE BEING HELD AT VARSITY STADIUM IN TORONTO ON THE CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO  IN MID JUNE 2017.

RACE DISTANCES ARE 400m  AND 4 x 400M RELAY

AGE CATEGORIES ARE IN 5 YEAR INCREMENTS BEGINNING AT 20 – 24, 25- 29 , 30 – 34 UP UNTIL AND INCLUDING 80 – 84.

GOLD , SILVER AND BRONZE MEDALS ARE AWARDED TO THE FIRST THREE FINISHERS IN EACH AGE CATEGORY AND EVENT.

4 x 400m RELAY CATEGORIES ARE 1) MALE, 2) FEMALE, 3) MIXED ( TWO MALE , TWO FEMALE)

MATHIEU TURCOTTE FROM QUEBEC HOLDS THE MOST CANADIAN MEN’S FOOTBIKE RECORDS AT 4 RECORDS IN BOTH INDIVIDUAL 400m AND RELAY.

VIERA BOZGAI IS THE CURRENT WOMEN’S ( 45-49 AGE CATEGORY) RECORD HOLDER AT 71.92s

SCOTT SHARP FROM INDIANA IS THE CURRENT MEN’S ( 30 – 34 AGE CATEGORY) RECORD HOLDER AT 49.42s
